Where Can You Find Costco Product Recalls?

You can find Costco product recalls in three places: in-store, online, and on our Costco97 Recalls page.

Like many wholesalers, Costco will post their recalls on a board in their warehouses; this does differ depending on the region, but you should be able to find it in-store. These details will include the product, any identifying information, and what you should do with the recalled product.

Costco also posts any recalls on a specific portion of their website called “Costco Recalls.” You can view any recent recalls on the site to check on groceries or new releases. Alternatively, if the recalled product is a non-food item, Costco has an archived page that goes further back (more than 120 days).

At Costco97, we aim to provide you with all the sales happening in your area, but also give you the scoop on Costco recalls when they pop up. You can check out our recalls page for the latest updates, or get notified through our newsletter platform by signing up below. This way you don’t have to head to your local warehouse or remember to check Costco.com — we’ll notify you via email.

If you have a recalled item in your house, it’s quite simple to take care of. Most items need to be brought to Costco and they will issue a full refund. These usually include produce or packaged food items.

Some items can be different though, like faulty appliances. These might need to be picked up by the company or Costco to receive a full refund. You can check how to deal with your recalled products on Costco.com. And don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the know.
