Summary:

BlendJet Inc., in collaboration with U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily recalling select serial numbers of our BlendJet 2 portable blenders.

BlendJet has determined that the bases in certain older blenders can overheat or catch fire, and/or the blades can break, posing potential fire and laceration hazards to consumers.

We strongly encourage you to participate in this recall by taking the following steps:

1. Immediately stop using your BlendJet 2 blenders.
2. Determine if your serial numbers are affected, as outlined below.
3. If determined that your serial number(s) are affected, follow the steps online or by phone for free
   replacement base(s).

Are My Units Affected?

You can easily check if you have a recalled BlendJet 2 online or by phone.

Online.

Use the “Is my BlendJet 2 Recalled?” tool via www.blendjet.com/safetyandrecall and enter the serial numbers of your units (as shown to the right).

By Phone.

You may also call BlendJet toll-free at 844-334-0562 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET Monday through Friday to provide the serial numbers of your units.

If determined your serial number(s) are affected, BlendJet will provide free replacement base(s) with free shipping as well. If determined your serial numbers are NOT affected, resume use of your BlendJet 2. Alternately, if you are not satisfied with your Blendjet 2, you may return them to Costco for a full refund.
