The scoop

If you’ve been eyeing those trendy hands-free sneakers but didn’t want to drop a fortune, you’re going to want to check out what Costco is stocking right now. The Skechers Women’s Hands-free Swift Fit Sneakers just showed up on the warehouse floor, and they’re bringing that slip-on convenience at a price that actually makes sense.

These aren’t your basic slip-ons. The Swift Fit features Skechers’ clever hands-free design that lets you literally step into them without bending down or using your hands – the heel folds down and pops back up as you slide your foot in. They’ve got memory foam insoles and a mesh upper that keeps things breathable, making them a solid choice for everyday wear.

Here’s the real talk: while the hands-free feature works great when you’re rushing out the door, these are definitely more “running errands” shoes than “running a marathon” shoes. The cushioning is comfortable for casual wear, but don’t expect the same support you’d get from a dedicated athletic sneaker. That said, for quick trips, dog walks, or just general daily wear, they hit the sweet spot between comfort and convenience.

They’re not perfect for every situation, but for everyday comfort and that grab-and-go lifestyle, they’re a smart pickup that won’t break the bank.

    1. Yes, from what we can see they do run in half sizes, so 7.5 should be an option. Just know that size availability can vary by warehouse, so worth checking in person or on Costco.com.

  1. Is “swift fit” the same as “slip ins” in the world of Skechers? Costco often sells the exact same item that other stores sell (Walmart, Target) but they change the model number and the name slightly. I haven’t seen these in person yet, but they’re in the current coupon book and they look exactly like the slip ins I was eyeballing at kohls a week ago.

    1. Good eye, Jen! “Swift Fit” is actually one of the specific styles under Skechers’ broader “Hands Free Slip-ins” technology line, so it’s the same hands-free heel design you’d find in other Slip-ins styles at places like Kohl’s, just under a different style name for Costco. Skechers does this a lot with their retail exclusives, so it’s likely very similar to what you saw.
