Dyson keeps expanding its air purifier lineup, and the HushJet Compact Pure Control is the latest addition worth a look if you have been eyeing a quieter, smaller footprint option for a bedroom or office.

This is Dyson’s HJ10 model, built with an advanced double-layer filtration system that the packaging says captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including allergens, dust, and pollen. It also features a 360-degree Electrostatic and Formaldehyde filter designed to permanently destroy formaldehyde rather than just trap it, which is a nice touch for households with candles, furniture, or fireplaces that can release it into the air.

The machine is fully sealed so pollutants can’t leak back out, and it uses auto-sensing technology to adjust airflow based on what it detects in the room. It’s WiFi enabled and works with the MyDyson app for tracking filter life, which the box says lasts up to 5 years. It also comes with a curved, magnetized remote that stores right on the unit for easy access.

Do keep in mind this is an air purifier only, so if you were hoping for combined heating or cooling functions, this particular model isn’t set up for that. It’s built specifically for compact air purification with a heavy emphasis on formaldehyde removal.
