New Product Smart Design Acacia Couch Console

The scoop

If your couch cushions have become a black hole for remotes, glasses, and phone chargers, this one might catch your eye. The Smart Design Acacia Couch Console showed up on shelves and it looks like a smart little upgrade for movie nights.

This is a 2-in-1 modular organizer made from acacia wood paired with a removable waterproof silicone insert. The insert has seven compartments, including two cup holders, a rotatable phone or tablet holder, and open slots for glasses, remotes, or snacks. You can use the wooden tray and silicone insert together as a full console, or split them apart and use each piece separately.

The build looks sturdy for a couch-side accessory, and the waterproof insert is a nice touch since spills near cup holders are basically inevitable. It’s compact enough to fit between couch cushions or sit on an armrest, and Costco notes it works well in cars, trucks, boats, and RVs too.

The Bottom Line: For anyone tired of losing the remote in the couch cushions, the Smart Design Acacia Couch Console looks like a practical, good-looking fix that could work just as well on a road trip as it does on the living room sofa.
