New Product Leatherman Sidekick Multipurpose Tool

The scoop

If you’re the type who always needs a tool but never has one handy, the Leatherman Sidekick Multipurpose Tool is worth a look. Spotted on the shelf with a few different colorway options, this compact multitool packs a surprising amount of function into a pocket-sized package.

The Sidekick is built around a set of outside-accessible tools, including a locking knife blade and a saw, so you don’t have to unfold the whole thing just to make a quick cut. It also features spring-loaded pliers for gripping, bending, and pulling. According to the packaging, it includes 14 tools total and comes with a fabric belt sheath for easy carry.

Leatherman has a long reputation for durable, USA-made tools, and this one comes backed by a 25-year warranty, which speaks to the brand’s confidence in its construction. The stainless steel build and locking blades should hold up well to regular use, whether that’s around the house, in the garage, or tossed in a glove box for emergencies.

If you’ve been meaning to add a solid everyday-carry multitool to your kit, the Leatherman Sidekick Multipurpose Tool looks like a practical, well-made option that should handle most quick tasks without weighing down your pocket.
