New Product Homedics Premium Portable Red Light Sauna

The scoop

If you have been eyeing a way to bring spa-level relaxation home without carving out a whole room for it, the Homedics Premium Portable Red Light Sauna might be worth a look.

This 2-in-1 wellness bundle combines a portable steam sauna with red light therapy wands, all packed into a foldable, zip-up tent-style design. It heats up to 135 degrees Fahrenheit, offers three sauna heat intensities, and includes MoisterLock Technology to help manage moisture inside the pod. The included foldable chair and steamer with diffuser round out the setup for a full at-home session.

Costco describes the unit as fitting users up to 5’10”, and the setup is pitched as simple and portable so you can tuck it away between uses. The two red light therapy wands use dual wavelengths (660nm and 850nm) according to the box, promising coverage for both sides of the body during a session.

For anyone curious about combining heat therapy and red light in one portable package, this looks like an interesting option to explore without committing to a built-in home sauna. Just keep in mind this is a personal, single-use pod rather than a multi-person sauna.
