Little Giant is conducting a voluntary recall of certain ladder models with Rapid Locks, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The ladders can suddenly retract if the Rapid Locks are not fully engaged, posing a fall hazard.
Affected items include:
– Little Giant Megalite+ Multi Use Ladder (11537-803) – Item #1671610
– Little Giant Megalite+ Multi Use Ladder (11548-803) – Item #1806348
– Little Giant Megalite Multi Use Ladder with Rack (900-00067) – Item #2009560
Stop using your ladder immediately until you receive the repair kit and apply the labels that will be sent directly to you by Costco. A free repair kit will be sent via US Mail at no charge. It includes instructions with photos and video on how to confirm the locks are properly engaged, lubrication directions, and labels to apply near each Rapid Lock.
If you do not receive your repair kit, contact Little Giant Ladder to request a replacement.
