a “.00” markdown is taken at the store level to clear items not covered by corporate .97 markdowns, so cannot assume it is available outside of reported location.
Most often these markdowns are just on a few remaining items the manager wants gone ASAP, floor models, or unopened seasonal returns.
Thanks for your comment! This is true – however A LOT of different stores are marking down artificial trees currently (along with other holiday items). It will be hit and miss as to which stores have trees left in stock, but that’s why we suggest contacting the store in advance (or trying costco.com online chat) before making the trip.
