13. Mavens Durian Ice Cream
Our first Costco ice cream selection is both viral from Shark Tank in 2019 and slightly controversial because of its flavor. Mavens Durian Ice Cream is made with real durian pulp, giving it the signature taste and aromatic smell of the fruit. The durian, also known as “the king of fruits,” is popular in Southeast Asia and is covered in a spiky shell. This flavor will not appeal to everyone, but for those who like durian fruit, it’s such an irreplaceable treat. Because of its unique main ingredient, it is usually only available in West Coast Costcos.
12. Halo Top Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream
With only 110 calories per serving, Halo Top Peanut Butter Cup ice cream provides a light option for those who have a persistent sweet tooth. Peanut butter is one of the top flavors from Halo Top for its subtle sweetness. This Costco ice cream is only available in select stores, so be sure to check your local Costco and see if they have this frozen treat.

1. Kirkland Signature Super Premium Ice Cream Vanilla
Our last, and arguably best, Costco ice cream product is from the Kirkland Signature brand. Customers love the rich and creamy flavor, and you can be assured that Kirkland’s brand always provides quality ice cream.
Is Costco Ice Cream More Affordable?
While the taste is a big factor when it comes to stocking the freezer, price is another. Especially when shopping at Costco, you want to be sure you’re opting for the cheapest price.
For instance, the 18-count of Kirkland Signature’s ice cream bars is only $11.99, which comes out to be much cheaper than competitive brands. When we compare brands like Blue Bunny and Bettergoods, these bars average around $14 to $16 for the same amount.
Name-brands are also cheaper at Costco. Haagen-Dazs’ vanilla and chocolate almond bars are $15.99 for 15 bars at Costco, while Walmart sells a 6-pack for $8.48 — almost 40 cents more per bar.
As for the beloved tubs of Kirkland Signature vanilla ice cream, which is $18.99 for a gallon, it’s a bit more expensive compared to other brands such as Breyers and Blue Bell. That being said, customers don’t seem to mind as the flavor is far superior.
Does Costco Carry Sorbet?
Enough about dairy, let’s talk fruit! Sorbet is another tasty frozen treat that is beloved by many. And Costco has plenty of options. While not available until the summer, Costco carries a variety pack from popular brand Island Way with flavors like Coconut, Grapefruit, Mango, and Pomegranate. If you are looking for a lighter sweet treat, keep an eye out for sorbet in the frozen aisles.

What to Know About the Food Court Ice Cream
The Costco ice cream selection doesn’t just stop at the freezer section. The next time you’re in for a delicious hot dog and drink combo, why not grab something sweet from the food court? For only $2.49, you can dive into a delicious sundae that will satisfy your cravings.
The food court offers three different options: vanilla soft-serve, chocolate sundae, or strawberry sundae. As you may guess, the biggest difference between the three is the toppings. Each comes with a vanilla soft-serve base, so you can keep it simple with plain vanilla, or add strawberry or chocolate on top.
If you don’t want any toppings, your ice cream will only cost $1.99 — a great deal!
