New Product Mattel Hot Wheels RC Ferrari Legends Race Track Set

The scoop

If you have a Ferrari fan at home, this one is worth a look. We spotted the Mattel Hot Wheels RC Ferrari Legends Race Track Set on the shelves, and it is a fun blend of classic Hot Wheels styling with modern remote-control racing.

This set includes two officially licensed 1:64 scale Ferrari R/C cars, the Ferrari F1-89 and the Ferrari F1-2000, each paired with its own 2.4GHz controller so two racers can compete at once. The included track stretches about 6 feet (183 cm) and features a chicane section along with a built-in pit stop and lap counter to track your best times.

The packaging notes that batteries are included and the cars themselves can be charged, which is a nice touch for a toy that is likely to get a lot of use. Adult assembly is required, and the set is rated for ages 5 and up, so this looks like a solid pick for younger motorsport fans who want a hands-on racing experience.

The Mattel Hot Wheels RC Ferrari Legends Race Track Set looks like a fun option for families who want a ready-to-race set right out of the box, combining Ferrari branding with the classic Hot Wheels racing appeal.
