New Product Nearly Natural 30-Inch Pre-Lit Red Velvet Poinsettia Pot

The scoop

If you want a quick dose of holiday cheer without the hassle of caring for a live plant, this find is worth a look. The Nearly Natural 30-Inch Pre-Lit Red Velvet Poinsettia Pot showed up on pallets ready for the season, and it is already catching eyes with its deep red blooms.

This faux poinsettia stands about 30 inches tall and comes potted in a decorative container, available in gold or black. It is pre-lit with 13 total LED lights offering 9 different lighting functions, so you can set the mood from a steady glow to a twinkling effect. The velvety texture on the petals is designed to mimic the real thing, giving it a realistic look from across the room.

Since it is artificial, there is no watering, no wilting, and no worrying about pets nibbling on it. Costco notes it is for indoor use only, and it runs on batteries rather than a plug, which makes placement flexible but also means you will want to keep spare AAs on hand once the included ones run out.

Bottom Line: If you like the look of a classic holiday poinsettia without the upkeep, this pre-lit version looks like an easy way to decorate for the season.
