New Product Spin Master Hexbots Spideroid Wall Crawling Spider

The scoop

Halloween shoppers, take note: this Spin Master Hexbots Spideroid Wall Crawling Spider is exactly the kind of creepy-cool toy that makes kids (and let’s be honest, some adults) do a double take on the shelf.

This is a remote-controlled robotic spider from the Hexbots Alive Inside line, designed to actually climb walls thanks to its Wall Climber feature. It comes loaded with LED lit eyes for extra spooky effect, and the box shows off a detailed, almost menacing design with red and green accents over a mostly black body.

For a toy built around a gimmick like wall-crawling, the packaging suggests some real engineering went into balancing the look with functionality. It’s rechargeable and includes remote batteries, so there’s no scrambling for extra AAAs before the fun starts. The included Duracell power note on the box is also a nice touch showing attention to detail.

If your kids are into robots, bugs, or anything that crawls where it shouldn’t, this Spideroid looks like a fun pick for Halloween or just everyday playtime.
