New Product Zuru Mini Brands Mini Vinyl Playset

The scoop

If you’ve got a mini-collector in your house, this one might make you stop the cart. The Zuru Mini Brands Mini Vinyl Playset combines the surprise-toy craze with a working miniature record player, and it’s a fun little twist on the collectible format.

This playset includes a tiny rechargeable record player that the packaging says really plays music, along with 3 mystery capsules to open and discover. Inside the full collection there are 13 records to find, featuring miniature versions of real album art. The whole thing is designed for collecting, trading, and of course, actually spinning some tiny tunes.

The novelty factor here is high, and the fact that the player is functional (not just a static toy) adds some real play value. Just keep in mind this is aimed at ages 3 and up, though the small parts mean younger siblings will need supervision.

For fans of the Mini Brands line or anyone who loves a good collectible surprise, this playset looks like a fun one to add to the shelf.
