Hazard:
Ajinomoto Foods North America in cooperation with the USDA announced a voluntary recall of select lots of Yakitori Chicken with Japanese-Style Fried Rice due to the potential presence of glass in the product. The affected products are coded with Best By dates ranging from 110825 through 011227.
The Best By date can be found printed on the side of the box or on individual packages in the format MM DD YY (Month, Day, Year).
There have been no confirmed reports of injuries related to the recalled product.
Remedy:
While not required by the USDA, out of an abundance of caution Costco is notifying members who purchased this item to avoid consumption of glass-contaminated food. Please check if you have this item and you may return it to your local Costco for a full refund.
