Hazard:
The Goal Zero Yeti 3000X Portable Power Stations may overheat, posing a risk of serious burn injury and fire hazard. No injuries have been reported as a result of this fault.
Remedy:
Consumers should immediately stop using the power stations and install the YETI 3000X firmware update in the app, or contact Goal Zero if support is needed to install this free repair. The firmware update is the recall remedy and does not require returning the product to the original place of purchase – whether this be online or a retail location.
If you are not currently using the Goal Zero app, download it for free from the Apple or Google Play store. Install the firmware update by tapping the banner in your app or by going to Settings > Firmware Update.
