This product is being recalled because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and other with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, sever headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
If you have any of this product remaining, don not consume the product. Please immediately return it to your local Costco for a full refund.
