Kidkraft Building Bricks Play N Glow Activity Table

The scoop

Heads up, Costco clearance hunters: the Kidkraft Building Bricks Play N Glow Activity Table (item #1785082) has been spotted in the clearance aisle. If you’ve got a preschooler who’s outgrown chunky toddler blocks but isn’t quite ready for the tiny torture devices that regular building bricks can be, this light-up activity table might be worth a look.

This is a dedicated play table designed specifically for building brick activities, complete with 210 compatible bricks to get kids started. The standout feature here is the light-up tray insert that adds a little extra pizzazz to building sessions, plus it comes with two plastic storage bins to help contain the inevitable brick explosion that happens in every playroom.

Activity tables typically retail in the $80-120 on up range depending on features, and light-up elements usually push items toward the higher end of that spectrum. The included 210 bricks is a decent starter set, though serious builders will likely want to expand their collection. For families who need a dedicated building space and like the idea of built-in storage, this could represent solid value at clearance pricing.

Tables like this often hit clearance when manufacturers update their designs or when warehouses need to clear seasonal inventory before back-to-school season. The light-up feature also means batteries and potential electronics issues down the line, which might explain why Costco is moving these out. That said, the core functionality of a sturdy building surface doesn’t depend on the lights working.

If you’ve been eyeing an activity table anyway and your warehouse still has stock, the clearance price makes this worth considering. The real question: will that light-up feature be a delightful bonus or just another thing that needs new batteries at the worst possible moment?
