If bedtime at your house involves a few rounds of “one more story,” this one might just save you some sanity. The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine Storytime Travel Set showed up on shelves, and it looks like a fun way to let kids take their favorite stories on the go.
This set is an English-speaking toy powered by Duracell batteries, and it comes packed with 9 story cartridges featuring characters from How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, and Trolls. Kids can pop in a cartridge, press play, and listen to the story while adding little figures of Toothless, Po, and a Troll to the player for added effects. The packaging shows kids using it projected onto a wall or just sitting on a nightstand, so it seems designed to fit right into a nightly routine.
The bundle looks well stocked for the price point, with multiple story cartridges and characters included right out of the box so you are not stuck buying extras immediately. It is labeled for ages 3 and up, and the included batteries mean it should be ready to use as soon as it is unboxed.
The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine Storytime Travel Set looks like a solid pick for parents wanting a screen-free storytelling option with plenty of content already included.
