Hazard:
Belkin has initiated a recall of the Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro, model number MMA008, due to identified manufacturing quality issues. Belkin has received five reports globally of product malfunctions with the stand, which may cause the stand’s lithium-ion cell components to overheat, posing a potential fire hazard.
The power bank that was included with the Costco bundle is NOT impacted by this recall.
Serial Numbers 57X10F61E00046 through 57X10F67E06078 are included in this recall.
Remedy:
If you have purchased the Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro, please take the following steps immediately:
- Stop Using the Stand: Disconnect it from any power supply.
- Visit the Belkin Recall Page for detailed instructions on how to obtain your refund or store credit.
- Belkin is offering purchasers a choice of a full refund or Belkin store credit for the full amount plus 20% on Belkin.com with valid proof of purchase.
