Hazard:
Universal Broadmoore branded Bellevue or Oaklynn canopy bed model numbers M24109240 (1812503); M24109230 (1812501); M24107240 (1812427); M24107230 (1812424). When the bed is moved after assembly, the canopy beams can collapse, posing impact and injury hazards to consumers.
Remedy:
Do not move the bed and contact Samson immediately. Samson is conducting a voluntary recall in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and is making available to consumers a free repair, including installation of four metal brackets and mounting hardware that will permanently attach the canopy frame to the top of the bed posts.
