Locations: All

Affected Purchase Dates: May 2019 – May 2021

Hazard:

SharkNinja, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) and Health Canada, is recalling the “Ninja”-brand “Foodi” OP300-series Pressure Cookers/TenderCrisp Air Fryers.

Consumers have reported that the pressure-cooking lids of these cookers can be opened while the cooker is pressurized, resulting in severe burn injuries from hot contents. This recall includes both the affected models shown below as well as any replacement pressure-cooking lid you may have purchased from SharkNinja previously or received as a service part.

Remedy:

If you still have this product, please remove your unit’s current pressure-cooking lid and discard it. Visit https://www.rqa-inc.com/client/SharkNinja/ to register to participate in this recall. Once you are registered, they will ship you a free replacement pressure-cooking lid at no charge to you. Until that replacement lid arrives, please do not use your unit’s pressure-cooking function. The unit’s other functions, such as air frying, are not affected.
