Electrolux Group, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, has announced a voluntary recall of certain Frigidaire gas ranges due to an issue causing delayed ignition of oven bake burners with the potential for burn risk.
Models affected:
– Model GCFG3060BD (Item #1893024)
– Model GCFG3060BF (Item #1811872)
– Model GCFG3070BF (Item #1984690)
– Model PCFG3080AF (Item #1893010)
Check www.GasOvenBurnerRecall.com to see if both your model and serial number are on the affected range list. Both numbers can be found in the drawer beneath the oven.
Remedy:
If your range is on the affected list, consumers should stop using the oven until service has been performed and the remedy addressing the recall is completed. The cooktop burners can continue to be used. Consumers can order a replacement oven bake burner and schedule service to receive professional installation of the replacement oven bake burner, free of charge, at www.GasOvenBurnerRecall.com.
