Icon Area Rug 5’3″ x 7′

The scoop

Spotted an Icon Area Rug hitting clearance at Costco, and if you’ve been waiting to refresh a bedroom or living space without breaking the bank, this 5’3″ x 7′ stain-resistant option might be worth a look.

This is a medium-sized area rug that’ll comfortably fit under a queen bed with some overhang, anchor a seating area, or define a dining space in an open floor plan. At just over 5 feet by 7 feet, it’s that versatile size that works in multiple rooms without overwhelming smaller spaces.

Area rugs at Costco typically run anywhere from $100 to $400+ depending on size and quality, so clearance pricing on a stain-resistant option could represent solid savings. The stain-resistant feature alone adds value if you’re dealing with kids, pets, or just the general chaos of daily life.

Rugs often hit clearance when Costco rotates seasonal inventory or discontinues specific patterns and styles. Since we’re in early February, warehouses are likely making room for spring merchandise, which means home goods like rugs are prime candidates for markdown. If this catches your eye, don’t sleep on it—clearance rugs at Costco have a habit of disappearing within days once the word gets out.

If you need a functional rug that can handle real life and you like the pattern, this clearance find could save you a decent chunk compared to buying new. Have you had good luck with Costco rugs holding up over time, or are you team “replace them every few years anyway”?
