Sun Mountain Pebble Beach Golf Cart Bag

The scoop

Spotted on the clearance aisle – the Sun Mountain Pebble Beach Golf Cart Bag has been marked down, and if you’re a golfer who rides, this is worth a serious look.

Sun Mountain is a well-respected name in the golf bag world, and the Pebble Beach edition carries that signature blend of quality construction and classic styling. This is a cart bag, meaning it’s designed to sit securely on a golf cart rather than be carried or pushed — so expect a full-size top, plenty of pockets, and a stable base. The Pebble Beach branding gives it a premium, resort-worthy aesthetic that stands out from the sea of generic black bags at the range.

Sun Mountain cart bags typically retail in the $200–$300+ range depending on the model, so a Costco clearance markdown on this one could represent meaningful savings. Cart bags tend to last for years, so even if you’re not upgrading immediately, snagging one at a discount and stashing it for when your current bag finally gives out isn’t a bad play.

As for why it’s on clearance – mid-October is right at the tail end of golf season in most parts of the country, and Costco tends to clear out seasonal sporting goods to make room for holiday inventory. It could also be a model that’s being refreshed or a limited-run collaboration. Either way, once clearance golf gear is gone at Costco, it’s gone. These aren’t items that get restocked, so if your local warehouse still has one, don’t sleep on it.
