Fall lawn care fans, take note: we spotted the Scotts Max Fall Weed & Feed marked down at Costco, and if your grass needs one last treatment before winter, this one is worth a look.
This Costco-exclusive bag covers up to 14,000 square feet and is designed to be applied once in fall to clear out dandelions and clover while strengthening your lawn for next spring. The formula uses what Scotts calls WeedGrip Technology along with kelp meal, worm castings, iron, and manganese to deliver what the label describes as a more complete nutrient package than standard weed and feed products.
Fall-specific lawn treatments like this tend to show up on markdown lists once the prime application window starts closing, so a clearance price on a product that still has plenty of shelf life ahead of it can be a genuinely smart buy. Covering 14,000 square feet for well under $30 works out to a reasonable per-square-foot cost for a two-in-one herbicide and fertilizer product.
Since this is positioned as a fall-only application product, it’s likely being cleared out to make room for winter and holiday inventory rather than any issue with the product itself. If your warehouse has it discounted, it’s probably limited stock, so don’t expect to find a mountain of bags waiting for you.
If your lawn still needs a fall cleanup, this Scotts Max Fall Weed & Feed looks like a solid grab while it’s discounted. Have you used Scotts Max before, or is this your first time trying their fall lineup?
