Duke Cannon BABOS

The scoop

Heads up, Costco clearance hunters. Duke Cannon’s Big Ass Bar of Soap (BABOS) has been spotted on markdown, and if you’re a fan of oversized, no-nonsense grooming products, this one’s worth a look before it disappears from shelves.

Duke Cannon has built a loyal following with their unapologetically large bars of soap – each one clocking in at roughly three times the size of a standard bar. The brand leans into a rugged, old-school American aesthetic, and their formulas are designed to actually clean without stripping your skin dry. These aren’t your grandma’s decorative guest soaps – they’re built for daily use and meant to last.

Duke Cannon products typically carry a premium over generic store brands, so catching them on Costco clearance is a solid opportunity to stock up at a more reasonable price point. The multi-pack format Costco carries already offers better per-bar value than buying individually at specialty retailers, and the clearance markdown sweetens the deal further. For a brand that rarely goes on deep discount, this is about as good as it gets.

As for why it’s hitting clearance – this could be a seasonal rotation, a packaging refresh, or simply Costco cycling through inventory to make room for holiday gift sets as we head into November. Whatever the reason, clearance soap like this tends to move quickly once word gets out. It’s a consumable product with a long shelf life, so there’s zero risk in grabbing extras if the price is right.

The bottom line: Duke Cannon on clearance is one of those low-risk, high-reward grabs. Everyone needs soap, and this stuff actually delivers on quality. Have you tried Duke Cannon bars before, or is this your first time spotting them at Costco?
