10. Teterboro

With a solid 3-star rating on Yelp (out of 5), the Teterboro Costco is considered one of the best. This store is unique as the alcohol selection is not in the main store but located in a different store through a separate entrance. Not all Costcos offer alcohol, so this is a plus. Customers praise the prices at the gas station here, however, some customers found that there weren’t that many sales compared to other locations.

9. North Brunswick Township

North Brunswick Township, New Jersey currently ranks at 3.2 stars on Yelp. Though this location does not sell alcohol, the cleanliness and high-quality makeup for it. The one thing that puts North Brunswick Township in line for the best Costco in New Jersey is its hearing aid center, which is continuously praised for being helpful and efficient.

8. Wayne

Unlike the previous entry, Wayne is one of the select locations in New Jersey that sells alcohol, from beer to Kirkland Signature wine. This Costco currently has a 3.4-star rating with high praise for its plentiful parking, the number of food options, and fair pricing. Other customer reviews find that the sample carts switch out frequently so they always get to try new items.

7. Flemington

The best Costco in New Jersey in regards to organization and friendliness is Flemington, with a 3.9-star rating. And for those who enjoy avoiding crowds, this location tends to be less busy than others. While Flemington does not sell alcohol, customers who enjoy shopping for organic products will be happy to know that they have a large selection available.

6. North Plainfield

Considered one of the best Costcos in New Jersey, North Plainfield is loved thanks to the fresh food and hardworking customer service. Similar to Teterboro, North Plainfield sells alcohol but it’s in a separate store. With a 4.1-star rating, Yelp customers report that Costco runs smoothly, even when busy, with great prices at the gas station in particular.

5. Clifton

While the Clifton Costco has a 3.2-star rating, it’s still at the top of the list for best Costco in New Jersey. The main reason is because the customer service and food court are exceptional. They work quickly to complete orders and help customers with any problems. It does get busy and products can sell out fast, it’s hard to beat a store with great customer care. 4. Bridgewater

Bridgewater, NJ has several wholesale clubs in the area, but their Costco is hands down the best. Not only is the staff helpful, but customers report that Costco offers amazing services such as tire installation. One of the most recent Yelp reviews shares that the store often stocks its aisles with holiday items as early as August to get you in the spirit.

3. Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill, New Jersey is considered one of the best Costco stores in the state with its 3.6-star rating. The store is consistently well-stocked, located in a convenient place, and known for its kind staff. While the gas lines can be long, the price is hard to beat anywhere else. Many customer reports share how expansive their plant selection can be during the spring and summer months. If you’re looking to start a garden, this could be a top Costco stop for you.

2. Hackensack

In second place for best Costco in New Jersey, we have to go with Hackensack. The warehouse is known for being spacious and organized, as it also acts as a member’s only business center. The location caters to businesses like restaurant owners, but you can still stock your basic groceries. While other locations allow non-members to order through Costco.com with a surcharge, only members can shop at this location. It’s quieter and less crowded as a result — plus, the parking is spacious.

1. Edison

Last but certainly not least is the Edison location, which is the best Costco in New Jersey. This location stands out for its large fresh produce selection, which includes lots of locally sourced goods. Customers report that they also have a wide selection of organic products and an exceptional in-house bakery. Not only that, but their liquor selection is vast and their customer service quality is exceptional.
