If you have been putting off refreshing your short sleeve shirt rotation, we spotted the Kenneth Cole Men’s Short Sleeve Button Up Shirt sitting on a regular shelf with a clearance price card attached. No dedicated section to dig through, just a lucky sighting for anyone browsing the apparel tables.
This is a short sleeve button-up dress shirt from Kenneth Cole New York, made from what looks like a textured performance-style fabric rather than a traditional woven dress shirt material. Based on the tags shown, the shirts come in a range of colors including light blue, sage green, and gray, with sizes spanning from Medium up through XXL.
At this price point, a Kenneth Cole shirt is a solid value compared to shopping at a department store or the brand’s own site, where similar styles often run considerably higher. Even if it is not a designer showstopper, getting a name-brand button-up for this little is hard to complain about.
Clearance pricing like this often shows up when a retailer is clearing out end-of-season colorways or overstocked sizes to make room for new inventory. Given the mix of sizes and colors visible in the bin, availability is likely inconsistent from one warehouse to the next, so do not expect to find your exact size and color combo everywhere.
Bottom line: this looks like an easy, low-risk way to add a name-brand shirt to your closet without spending much. Would you grab an extra one in a different color while you are at it?
